The Youling Village climbs from the root of mountain to the top step by step, in which the straight alleys are well-arranged and every house is linked together to form structure of famous Yao-Rows.Most of houses in village have some unique devices which can express Yao living Style, such as stove,shower basins, stilts based on bamboo stockade concrete wall.Based on first-hand materials, Youling historical overview, village form, building types and characteristics are introduced in details.At present, these tottering houses have not been repaired for many years.How to protect these houses has become a priority,so we urgently need to explore an effective protection mode to save these ancient houses which are disappearing now.
