跨界设计思考——艾托·索特萨斯设计作品探析

THINKING OF CROSSOVER DESIGN——RESEARCH ON DESIGN WORKS OF ETTORE SOTTSASS

上个世纪,西方国家诞生了许多杰出的后现代设计师,其中,艾托·索特萨斯(Ettore Sottsass)的跨界性和独特性较有特点,他还一手建立了闻名世界的孟菲斯设计师团队。文章通过对索特萨斯设计作品的分析,深入介绍索特萨斯的创作理念以及设计作品的典型特色,探究他与孟菲斯团队为后现代主义的设计指明怎样的道路。

Last century, there were many outstanding postmodern designers in the western countries, especially Ettore Sottsass, who are famous for his crossover and uniqueness. He also built the world famous designer team of Memphis. In this paper, through the analysis of Sottsass＇s design works, we introduce Sottsass＇s creative concept and the typical characteristics of the his works, and explore the road left by Sottsass and his Memphis team to the design of postmodernism.
