With fabrication of steel anchor boxes of cable tower on Chongqing Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge , this paper analyzes structure and difficulties in fabrication of steel anchor boxes of cable tower and states key techniques in unit fitting fabrication of anchor boxes, integral assembly of semi-box steel anchor boxes, machining of sectional full end-face, vertical pre-assembly and hot dipped galvanized technology of steel anchor boxes, etc. to accumulate experiences for construction of similar projects.
