Cleanliness of engine parts and components directly determine the quality of engine products. This article explains the importance of engine parts cleanliness and its testing method, analyzes the impact of components cleanliness to engine＇ s performance and life, and then, describes the present status and prospects of control methods and testing technology regarding cleanliness.
