Taking applied talents training as starting points, the paper analyzes the status of public physical education teaching in application-oriented colleges and universities, and then points out the necessity, countermeasures and suggestions of public physical education teaching reform accordingly, which are both beneficial in deepening the public physical education teaching reform among application-oriented colleges and improving the public physical education curriculum system.
