未曾公开的南朝佛教造像

The Undisclosed Buddhist Statues of the Southern Dynasty(420-589)

南朝佛教造像是研究南北朝佛教艺术的重点,但是由于历史和地理环境因素,南朝佛教造像不但数量有限而且完整的更少,给中国佛教发展、演变研究带来一定困难。可喜的是,它山博物馆私人馆藏23尊南朝佛像的公开为我们研究这一时期佛教造像提供了新的资料。文章以它山博物馆馆藏南朝造像为研究主体,并和其他南朝造像比较发现其价值和意义。

The Buddhist statues of the Southern Dynasties（ 420- 589） are the highlights in the study of Buddhist arts in the Northern and Southern Dynasties. However,it makes a certain difficulty in studying the development and evolution of Chinese Buddhism as few Buddhist statues of the Southern Dynasties survived and even fewer are the well- preserved ones due to the historical and geographical factors. Amazingly,the opening of 23 Buddhist statues of the Southern Dynasties from a private collection in Tashan Museum offers new data for the research in this period. This paper takes the Buddhist statues of the Southern Dynasties in Tashan Museum as the research object to find their values and significance by comparing with other statues in the Southern Dynasties.
