The study shows that the dancing rock paintings on the Helan Mountain are endowed with action aesthetics of artistic forms; the Shaman＇s practicing rock paintings express the implication aesthetics of the art imagery; the hunting ones deliver the artis- tic beauty of the art champ. The analysis shows that the primitive sports activities recorded on the Helan Mountain Rocks are markcd by a distinctive ＂artistry＂, which is a new presentation and a true portrayal of the primitive sports activities from the aesthetic perspectivc.
