摘要
本研究将项目学习运用于英语专业的课堂教学——学生以小组为单位,走上讲台,进行课堂授课。采用教学实验研究,遵循项目学习实施的六大步骤,主要运用定性研究方法——课堂观察、个人总结、项目日志和访谈。研究结果表明:(1)所有小组的教学目标明确,多数小组体现了探究式教学,能按质按量完成教学任务。但学生对自己在项目中的表现评价不是很高,有些保守。(2)该项目学习让他们受益匪浅,在认知、情感、能力三方面取得了较大的进步。(3)该项目学习在实施过程中存在信息处理、学生能力欠缺以及学生因素的不确定性等方面的问题,需要从教师和学生两方面加以改进。
The present study is attempted to apply projectbased learning in the classroom teaching of English ma- jors - - students in groups stood on the plaffrom, teaching in the way as the teacher does. As a teaching experiment, the study followed the six steps in the project - based learning and employed qualitative research methods - - classroom observatian, personal reflection, project diary and interview. The results showed that: ( 1 ) all the participating groups set definite teaching objects, most of which demonstrated inquiry- driven instruction, and could complete the teaching pro- ject in a satifactory way. But they seemed to have a conservative but not very positive evaluation of themselves;(2) they benefited sginificantly from the project, making much progess in congnition, affect and ability; (3) but there still existed some problems in information processing, lack of ability and uncertain aspects of students, which can be tackled through the concerted efforts of both the teacher and students.
