“The Highest Level of Education Is like Water”: My Outlook on Education

教育之品如水品。上好的教育应有善、智、美三大品质。善,是教育在伦理纬度上的要求——教育之善若水善;智,是教育在科学纬度上的要求——教育之智若水智;美,是教育在艺术纬度上的要求——教育之美若水美。以这一思想为指导建构的"若水教育",要培养水灵灵、活泼泼的儿童。

The quality of education is like that of water. The highest level of education should have such three qualities as goodness, intelligence, and beauty. Goodness is the requirement of education in ethics, that is, the goodness of education is like that of water; intelligence is the requirement of education in science, that is, the intelligence of education is like that of water; beauty is the requirement of education in art, that is, the beauty of education is like that of water. ＂Education like water＂ under the guidance of such ideology aims to cultivate children who are lovely and lively.
