Being a frontier issue in British and American literary studies, literary map harbors collective cultural memories and fascinating scholastic aura.Abiding by principle of genus and difference, typological heterogeneous standard,Descriptivist Theory of Names and Causal Theory of Reference, this article tracks out three ontological discourses of literary map, namely, definition, type, and naming of relative to explore the mysteries of spatial poetics hidden behind.
