Discussion on the Continuous Current Characteristics of Transmission Line Arresters

摘要 研究了线路避雷器工频续流试验的合理性和必要性;从工频续流试验的理论背景出发,结合国内外研究成果,指出国内典型设计的避雷器能够可靠遮断工频续流;同时,讨论了研制小型化线路避雷器应重点考虑的几个问题,如确定合理的本体外绝缘耐水平、合理模拟污秽条件、考虑间隙支撑件对工频续流遮断特性的影响以及综合考虑经济性和安全性等。 The rationality and necessity of follow current interrupting test has been researched for externally gapped line arrester (EGLA). It is pointed out that the follow current can be interrupted successfully by the typical designed EGLA in China based on the theoretical background and the research both in China and abroad. Also, some critical issues to be considered during the development of miniaturization EGLA are discussed, such as reasonable level of insulation withstand, suitable pollution condition, influence of support insulator on follow current interrupting, coordination of economy and safety and so on.
