The Application of RFID and the Reader Privacy Protection——Based on the Experience of America

摘要 RFID技术系统存在着隐私风险,其在图书馆的应用可能使读者的隐私权受到新的威胁,美国政府、图书馆和社会各界对此高度重视,采取了积极的应对策略,包括图书馆本身的自律机制建设、制定图书馆行业性的隐私政策指南,以及对RFID在图书馆应用涉及的隐私权问题开展针对性的立法等。美国的做法与经验对我国图书馆的RFID实践具有指导与借鉴作用。 RFID technology systems exist privacy risks, and its application in the library may make the reader privacy suffer new threats. The U. S. government, libraries and community attache great importance to take a positive coping strategies, including building self-regulatory mechanism and the professional privacy policy guidelines of the library, and conducting targeted legislation of privacy issues involved in RFID application The practice and experience of libraries in U.S. provide RFID practice guidance and reference for our country.
