The load control of nip closing and preloading of 3rd press is integrated with different technologies such as MCS, hydraulic system and mechatronics. Any fault in parts or non-compatibility of parameters can result in failure of the nip closing, preloading and the compensation of linear pressure. A case in which unmatched parameters resulted in failures in nip closing and loading was introduced in this article.
