读经与儿童教育——以“读经村”为例

The Necessary of Traditional Chinese Classic Reading and Its Effects on Elementary Education——Taking an example of “Reading Village”

自中西会通之后中国教育发生了古今之变,传统的蒙学教育逐渐被小学教育所取代,"儿童读经"也逐渐废除。近年随着中国的崛起,中国传统文化重新受到了关注和重视。"儿童读经"也得到了提倡,那么在现代教育下,儿童读经有必要吗?儿童如何读经?基于历史学和教育学的跨学科方法,认为无论是从中华民族的伟大复兴的角度还是从人类教育本身,儿童读经都值得我们提倡。"儿童读经"即是"经典阅读",区别于"读经"等于"背经"模式。"儿童读经"由"识字"而"读经",儿童在"识字"基础上精读和背诵经典,且教学一体。

This article tells us the necessary of traditional Chinese classic reading by children at their young age. We ask ourselves to answer to this question： In modern education, is it necessary for children to read Chinese classics？ And how do children read Chinese classics？ Generally, in our opinion, reading ancient Chinese classics is beneficial to the inheritance and development of Chinese culture and to improve our children＇s thinking capability.
