摘要社区学院是美国劳动力培养、培训的重要场所,因此成为经济危机时期及后经济危机时期奥巴马政府投资教育的重要领域之一。奥巴马政府突出强调社区学院的职业教育与成人培训职能,重视社区学院的改革与发展,除满足大量失业工人的职业培训外,更与国家未来的发展目标及其经济发展战略结合在一起。奥巴马政府的社区学院改革发展计划对于我国高职院校,尤其是新建高职院校的发展具有启发意义。 In America, community college is the important institution for training labor force and hence becomes one of importantfields Obama administration has invested on education. Obama administration has been stressing community college＇ s careereducation and training function as well as attaching importance to the reform and development of community college, whichdoes not only meet a large number of unemployed workers＇ need for vocational training, but also be associated with nationaldevelopment goal and economic strategy of development in the future. Obama administration＇ s plan for community college＇ sreform and development is instructive to the development of our country＇ s higher vocational colleges, especially new ones.
