Haiyuange Library by the Yang Family of Liaocheng was first built in 1840, and has been famous in China for its treasured collections, and therefore it was considered one of the four great libraries of the Qing Dynasty in China. This paper demonstrates the origin of the Haiyuange Library by the Yang Family of Liaocheng, its owner,the ways and features of collection, and the methods of storing the books, the disasters it suffered and its survival.
