摘要
基于弯曲波导的相关模式耦合理论,应用相位重匹配技术,通过数值优化计算得到TM01-TE11双弯过模圆波导模式变换器的最优几何结构参数以及相应的工作参数,设计了一款Ka波段的同向传输结构的TM01-TE11模式变换器。此变换器与非同向传输型TM01-TE11双弯过模圆波导模式变换器的相关参数进行对比研究,综合比较发现前者明显优于后者。实物测试结果和程序计算结果良好一致,表明其可以很好的满足系统应用要求。
Based on bent waveguide mode coupling theory and phase re-matching technology,optimal geometric parameters and working parameters of an over mode double-arc structure circular wave guide TM01-TE11 mode converter is obtained through numerical calculation,and a Ka-band same-direction-transmitting TM01-TE11 mode converter is designed.Parameters of this same-direction-transmitting converter and those of a different-direction-transmitting converter are compared and the results indicate that the former has obvious advantages over the latter.Good agreement between the testing results and the calculating results shows the converter can meet the application requirements very well.
