This paper introduced the digital power metering system＇ s composition and communication protocol in intelligent substation. The different error factors source for digital power metering system and traditional electric energy metering had been analyzed. The paper also introduced the method of traceability and calibration of digital power metering system, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages existing in the method, to promote understanding of digital power metering system.
