Technology of self-protection from seepage for the stone masonry dams

渗漏是砌石坝主要病症之一,防渗是砌石坝要解决的主要问题。砌石坝传统的心墙防渗及面板防渗体系费时费料,施工干扰大,制约了砌石坝技术的发展。采用自身防渗体系,简化了施工工艺,减少了工程费用,促进了砌石坝技术发展。笔者全面总结了砌石坝自身防渗技术,以便推广。

Usually, seepage protection by core wall and impervious facing are adopted for stone masonry dams. But it requires high material and time consumption which is the restriction for the further development of this dam type. By application of self-protection system, the construction procedures are simplified and the cost is reduced. The paper introduces the self seepage protection system for stone masonry dams, for reference.
