在深化大学英语教学改革的背景下,随着独立学院教育的发展,大学英语教师的素质和专业化水平直接关系着改革的成败,大学英语教师专业化发展显得尤为迫切。本文通过分析大学英语教师专业化发展的内涵、现状及存在的问题,探讨其有效发展途径,全方位推进独立学院大学英语教师的专业化发展,促进教学改革和教育可持续发展。

Under the background of deepening college English teaching reform and with the development of independent college education, college English teachers＇ quality and professional level have a close relationship with the success of the reform. Therefore, college English teachers＇ professional development is particularly urgent. By analyzing its connotation, current situation and existing problems, this paper discusses its effective approaches to propel college English teachers＇ professional development in independent colleges and to promote the teaching reform and sustainable development.
