It focused on the status of food security reports and public opinion in China ,and analyzed its reasons and some scientific and rational strategies and recommendations were given. Food safety concerns the vital in- terests of the people, as the public body, the media should play an important role. In recent years, the frequent food safety incidents will test the level of responsibility and professionalism of media.
