《红楼梦》第四十四回"变生不测凤姐泼醋"是中国古代家庭两性战争的特殊画面:举凡中国古代两性层面关系的人物:丈夫、嫡妻、侍妾、情妇,都被作者聚拢在同一场景,藉由他们间冲突矛盾的生发,展现出中国古代家庭两性战争的特点及规律:战场转移下女性内部的自戕与互残。在生日宴会的喜剧性氛围里,展示出对中国古代家庭女性生命境遇的悲情思考。

War between male and female in ancient Chinese families is a special picture in the literary works. “Wang Xifeng went into hysterics and envy”in the Dream of Mansion indicates the relationships among family menbers,husband,wife,concubine and mistress. The descriptive picture about their conflicts reveals the characteristics and regular patterns of the the sex- war in the ancient Chinese family： battlespace＇s shifting and cruel slaughter among the women themselves. In the comic atmosphere of birthday party,the authors displayed the tragical thoughts about the fate of the Chinese ancient women.
