Inheritance and Innovation: Modern Jingdezhen Ceramic Education

通过梳理景德镇近代陶瓷教育的发展脉络,总结出师徒传承制在古代陶瓷技艺的传授过程中起到了决定性的作用,但随着时间的推移,当思想文化、生产方式和经济模式等现实条件发生改变之后,这种教育模式势必会为更先进的学校教育取代,不过,这种取代并不是对传统教育模式的全盘否定,而是在沿袭的基础上创造出更科学、更有序、更务实的教育体系,这种沿袭与创新实际上正是景德镇陶瓷教育民族性特征的一种具体呈现。

This paper traces the history of modem Jingdezhen ceramic education, explaining the crucial role of apprenticeship in ancient ceramic skill education and its subsequent replacement by a more advanced schooling model with everything changed with the time. It believes the traditional education model was not totally repudiated, but was adopted as a foundation for a new education system which was more scientific, orderly and pragmatic; the process embodies a national characteristic of modem Jingdezhen ceramic education.
