The Brief Chronicle of Yin Geng-yun

尹耕云是咸丰朝谏垣名臣,"名宦治缋宣付国史馆,列循史传中",交游曾国藩、张之洞、鲁一同、朱琦、冯桂芬、潘祖荫、郭嵩焘、莫友芝、王闿运、邓辅纶、高心夔、龙汝霖等,俱为晚清名臣、硕彦,其《心白日斋集》"文笔健举、叙事有法",诗"健笔凌空,沉思透纸","当颉颃朱伯韩、孔宥函"。但迄今,其人惜无年谱问世,本文多方勾稽文献,作此简谱,就教于学界同仁。

Yin Geng-yun is a famous minister of Xianfeng Dynasty .He was written in history as a honest and upright official . His friends such as Zeng Guo -fan, Zhang Zhi-dong, Lu Yi-tong, Zhu-qi, Feng Gui-fen, Pan Zu-yin, Guo Song-tao, Mo You-zhi, Wang kai-yun, Deng Fu-lun, Gao xin-kui, Long ru-lin etc, are all famous ministers or scholars .His essays and po-ems are as good as those of Zhu -qi and Kong Ji-heng.But he has no chronicle so far .Therefore the author wrote this chronicle in order to get advices of peers .
