Syntactic Features of English International Sci-Tech Collaboration Agreements and the Translation Strategies

随着我国科技的快速发展和对外合作的不断深入开展,需要大量的国际科技合作协议规约双方的行为,这就使得国际科技合作英文协议中文翻译的重要性愈加突出。本文从文本入手,着重分析国际科技合作英文协议的句法特点,并结合实例提出了翻译对策。

With the fast development of science and technology in China and further collaborations with foreign institutes, more and more international sci-tech collaboration agreements have been signed and therefore the re- lated translation of them becomes increasingly significant. Based on the English texts this paper analyzes the syn- tactic features of international sci-tech collaboration agreements and illustrates through examples the various translation strategies involved.
