10 kV distribution voltage is commonly used in China due to its advantages and features such as integrity,systematicness and strong compatibility.However,this distribution network also has many drawbacks,e.g.invaluable to outside disruptions,prone to all kinds of accidents and abnormal operation of the power system.This article analyzes comprehensively the safe utilization of the electromagnetic loop closing operation as well as relay protection in 10 kV distribution network.Therefore,both current relay protection equipment and loop electromagnetic closing operation should be taken seriously to avoid safety problems.
