The Delusive Road of Little Boy's Religional Belief

爱尔兰作家詹姆斯·乔伊斯的短篇小说集《都柏林人》以其独特的"顿悟"的技巧而倍受评论家的推崇,其中第三篇《阿拉比》用"小男孩"情感的话语来表现宗教的虚妄。从文本理论出发解读,发现小男孩宗教的信仰之所以虚妄是因其受到人物、背景和意象的阻拦,或者说"小男孩"宗教信仰的虚妄是必然的。

The collection of short stories Dubliners,written by Irish writer James Joyce,gets high praise among critics because of its unique skill of epiphany,whose third short story Araby uses the discourses of feeling to express the delusiveness of religion. From the perspective of text theory,this paper finds out that the little boy＇s religional belief is destined to be delusive because of the hinder of characters,background and images. In other words,the delusiveness of little boy＇s religional belief is inevitable.
