Essentially,its mechanism is that the pungent medicine has the moving and dispersing function,and it could remove blockage due to excess pathogens,such as exterior pathogens,phlegm-fluid retention,blood stasis and dry pathogen,to promote the generation of the yin fluid and yang qi,and therefore pungent medicine could restore to treat dry diseases. the transportation and distribution of body fluids
