Commentary of Hot Issues of Chinese Art Theory in 2014

2014年中国艺术学理论从焦点问题、学术研究、学科建设和交流活动四个方面取得了很大的进展,但是也暴露出了一些深层次的欠缺,主要是学科方向和定位依然不够清晰,认同度仍有待于提高,而且从学科内在的构成上,存在共识不足的问题。一些学者在推动关键性的艺术史学科的建立方面做出了尝试和努力。不过尽管存在以上问题,学界普遍对艺术学理论学科的前景十分看好,也寄予厚望,该学科的学术交流活动和研讨活动也日趋活跃和频繁。

Chinese art theory made great achievements in four aspects, namely, the focal point, academic re- search, discipline construction and exchange activities. Nevertheless, problems occur. They are： unclear discipline direction and positioning, insufficient recognition, lack of consensus on the internal formation of the discipline. Some experts have tried to promote the construction of Art history. In spite of the problems existing, academia is all optimistic about the discipline. And there will be more and more academic exchan- ges and seminars of the discipline.
