摘要
本文阐述了构建中国大学英语语言能力标准的重要意义,梳理了过去60多年语言能力的界定和语言能力标准的发展阶段。从语言能力标准的视角,对《大学英语课程教学要求》中的教学性质和目标、教学要求、教学评估和学生英语能力自评/互评表做了定量、定性相结合的分析,指出了它在理论支撑、描述语使用和研制方法等方面存在的一些缺陷。基于此,提出了新形势下基于语料库、以实证数据驱动的中国大学英语能力量表的研制路线。
This paper expounds the significance of constructing China' s College English language proficiency standards, and combs the definitions of language competence as well as the development stages of language proficiency standards in the past 60 years. From the perspective of language proficiency standards, it gives an analysis of the character and objectives of College English, teaching requirements, evaluation and self-assess- ment/peer assessment form for students' English competence in College English Curriculum Requirements, and points out some drawbacks in terms of theoretical support, descriptor usage and development approach. Based on the above analysis, it is suggested that an empirical corpus-based, data-driven approach should be adopted to develop China' s College English proficiency standards.
