大陆和台湾地区大学英语ESP教学及其对比研究

Study of the comparison of ESP teaching on the mainland and in Taiwan Region

新的世界经济形势和高等教育发展趋势促进了ESP教学在我国大陆及台湾和香港地区甚至整个亚洲地区的发展。ESP教学对于我国的大学英语教学和改革有着重要的意义。通过对比台湾地区和大陆地区的ESP教学,发现台湾地区ESP教学在课程设置、教学内容、教学方法以及ESP教师培养上能给大陆地区很多有益的启示。

The new world economic condition and high education trend greatly promote the developing of ESP teaching in the mainland, Taiwan and Hongkong even in the whole Asian area.Although the scholars in china haven＇t reach the agreement on general English and English for specific purpose, they have seen the significance of ESP teaching for our college English revolution. However ESP teaching develops slowly on the mainland and with many problems. Taiwan Region is doing much better than us. We can learn a lot though comparing the designing, teaching materials, teaching methods and training of teachers in Taiwan.
