Rhetoric Devices Construal of Hamlet from Cognitive Perspective

修辞既是独特的语言现象,也是人类认知思维加工的结果。以认知为视角,系统归纳分析《哈姆雷特》的修辞运用。研究发现:莎士比亚在《哈姆雷特》里大量运用隐喻、双关、排比等修辞,并通过这种"银盘"般的修辞和"金桔"般的用语营造出一种让人如闻其声、如见其人、如临其境的氛围。识解这些修辞不仅能深入了解莎剧的语言艺术及思想内涵,对于探寻莎翁在修辞建构中的认知思维更有重要意义。

Rhetoric is a unique phenomenon of language and is the result of human＇s cognitive processing. From the cognitive perspective,this article explores the rhetoric devices in Hamlet. It is found that Shakespeare applied numerous unique rhetoric figures,such as metaphor,pun and parallelism in Hamlet,presenting a vivid atmosphere for the audiences. To construal these rhetoric devices is not only helpful to form a better understanding on their language art and thought,but also significant to explore the cognitive thinking of Shakespeare in constructing those rhetoric figures.
