人类学家与原住民民族学院的课程发展——乔健的贡献

Anthropologist and the Curriculums Development for the College of Aboriginal Studies:Chiao Chien's Contributions

记载人类学家乔健在台湾地区推动原住民自助文化研究之努力,透过民族学苑之筹备,举办一连串推广教育活动。至原住民民族学院之成立,得以在高等教育中展开正式培育原住民与民族研究精英之活动。以协助筹备至主持系务与院务的经验,对照今日原住民民族高等教育发展之趋势,探析乔健在台湾地区人类学的学术理想与文化实践的贡献。

This paper records that Chiao Chien makes efforts to promote the self--reliance cultural studies for aboriginals in Taiwan. With the help of the so- ciety of ethnics, he organizes a series of education promotions. The establishment of the College of Aboriginal Studies marks the beginning of fostering elites for the aboriginals and ethnic studies in the higher education. The author recalls his experiences to assist the preparation and to take in charge of the department and college administration, compares with the current trend of higher education de- velopment for aboriginals, and reviews the contributions that Chiao Chien has made as a pioneer for the anthropological academy and practicc in Taiwan.
