摘要
图书馆虚拟社区是一个在互联网上推广和应用数字图书馆的新技术,提升了图书馆的信息服务能力,为读者提供了交流互动的新平台。文章采用了网站调查法、对比分析法等研究方法,对"211工程"高校图书馆虚拟社区的应用现状进行了调查,分析其应用特点和不足,最后提出了启示和建议,以便推动我国高校图书馆虚拟社区的发展。
As a new technology applied in digital libraries, virtual communities in a library are conceivably able to enhance the information service of the library by providing a new platform for the readers＇ interaction. Based on surveys and a comparative study, this paper studies the current application of virtual communities of libraries of some project 211 universities in China, and analyzes their characteristics and weaknesses. Corresponding suggestions are also DroDosed on the further development of virtual community in china
