Relationship between Apoptosis of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells and Plaque Stability and Prevention and Treatment of TCM

动脉粥样硬化是严重危害人类健康的常见病,研究发现不稳定斑块破裂及继发血栓形成是其高致死致残率的元凶,而血管细胞过度凋亡是不稳定斑块的特征之一。就血管平滑肌凋亡与斑块稳定性及其中医药防治作以综述。

Atherosclerosis is a common disease which seriously harms to human health. The study has found that the unstable plaque rupture and thrombosis secondary are resulted in high mortality and disability rate. Excessive apoptosis of vascular cells is one of the characteristics of unstable plaque. In this paper,we reviewed the relationship between the apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cells and plaque stability and prevention and treatment of TCM.
