Focusing on the meaning &importance of integrated design of underground expressways & rail transit lines, several key points of integrated design are presented in this paper, including mode selection, layout principle,architecture & disaster prevention principle,mechanical & electrical equipment design principle and ancillary facilities design principle, etc. Taking Shanghai East-west Channel project for example,the integrated design is analyzed in detail such as line selection, section layout and technology standards.
