Investigation and Analysis on the Influences of iSchool on Discipline Construction in Information Filed

摘要 [目的/意义]分析i School成员院校对其教职工科研与教学、学院管理、学院经济、学院社会影响力等方面产生的具体影响,并调查非i School院校教职工对i School的了解情况及其态度,进而总结i School对国内外信息领域学科建设的具体影响。[方法/过程]采用调查问卷的方式对国内外i School成员院校的教职工以及非i School院校教职工进行关于i School对信息领域学科建设影响的调查。[结果/结论]i School对信息领域学科建设包括科研、教学、学院管理、学院经济建设及学院的社会影响力等方面都有所影响,并且影响程度对于i School成员院校和非i School院校以及对不同国家地区而言有所不同。i School对其成员院校加强学术队伍建设、提高科研学术水平方面有所影响;i School对其成员院校教职工教学方面的影响甚微;i School对非i School院校的学科建设起推动作用。 [ Purpose/significance ] This paper analyzes specific influences of iSchool on scientific research and teach- ing, school management, economic and social impact, and comparatively analyzes its different effects on the faculties be- tween the U. S. A and other countries. It also summarizes the specific influences of iSchool on discipline conswaction in information filed by analyzing faculties from the non-iSchool members knowing about the iSchool, iSchool' s influences on their universities and whether they will support to join iSchool. [ Method/process] This paper investigates the influences of iSehool on discipline construction in information field by the questionnaire for faculties of iSchool members and non- iSchoo] members. [ Result/conclusion] iSchool exercises influence on scientific research and teaching, school manage- ment, economic and social impact on discipline construction in information flied, and produces different effects between iSchoo] members and non-iSehools, and between different counties, iSehool has influence on strengthening academic team construction, and improving the academic level of scientific research; iSchool has little effect on teaching of iSchool mem- bers' faculties; iSehool plays an important role in discipline construction of non-iSchool members.
