论学衡派对浪漫主义思潮的阻击

On Xueheng School' Battle against Romanticism

从现代性的视角来审视学衡派新人文主义与浪漫主义的关系,我们会发现站在对抗和制衡启蒙现代性立场的学衡派分别从中庸节制的审美理想、善恶二元的传统道德和保守主义的政治态度等三个方面对浪漫主义思潮发出了强烈质疑。应该说,学衡派的质疑有其部分历史合理性;但是由于其固守概念和原理的狭隘立场,使得这种批判矫枉过正,阻碍了浪漫主义思潮在中国现代文学中的发展。

It finds that, from the perspective of modernity to examine the relationship between Xueheng School of New Humanism and the Romanticism, the Xueheng School questions strongly towards the Romanti- cism from the three perspectives, such as the aesthetic ideal of the moderation, the good and the evil tradition- al morality, and the conservative political attitudes from the checks and balances of its enlightment standpoint. To some extent, there is some historical rationality in its question towards the Romanticism, but since it sticks to its concept and principle with its narrow stance, which makes its criticism overcorrected, hindering the de- velopment of the Romanticism in Modern Chinese literature.
