“不可译”论的主体间性批判

Critical View on the Intersubjectivity of Untranslatability

"不可译"论有着悠久的历史,不论是关于语言结构的"不可译",还是文化传统的"不可译"断言,都是对人脑认知功能潜势的低估,是对语言本质认识的讹推,是对主体性的过分执著和对主体间性的无视。从主体间性的认识论出发,那些看似"不可译"的语言、文化现象天生就带有"可译"性的语言哲学基础。基于此,根据"互文性翻译"理论、社会语言学的"语言变化"理论、"解构翻译"理论对"不可译"论依次进行审视,并最终从语言的主体间性角度指出"不可译"论忽略了语言的人文主义根本属性,可以彰显其本质上的"不可知"论属性。

The idea of untranslatability has a long history. However, ideas on whether untranslatability of linguistic structure or un- translatability of cultural tradition underestimate the potential cognitive power of brain, wrongly speculate the nature of language, over- emphasize the subjectivity and ignore the intersubjectivity. Under the framework of intersubjectivity, the seemingly ＂untranslatable＂ language and cultural phenomena have intrinsic ＂translatable＂ linguistic philosophy. Therefore, this paper reviews this issue according to the theory of intertextuality translation, the theory of linguistic change from social linguistics, and the theory of deconstructive trans- lation and points out the idea of untranslatability ignores the fundamental humanistic attribute of language and reveals its agnosticism in essence from the perspective of linguistic intersubjectivity.
