职业需求引导下的高职英语专业综合英语课程教学探索

Comprehensive English Teaching Guided by Vocational Requirement for Vocational Higher Education English Majors

高职英语专业的综合英语是一门综合性基础课,涵盖听、说、读、写、译等英语技能的培养,课程内容丰富,覆盖面广,是英语专业学生学习其他专业课程的根基。这对教师的教学提出挑战:有限的教学时间内不可能面面俱到,如何体现其实用性,让学生吸收应用性强的精华,提高学生的整体语言应用能力,从而满足日后就业的需要?鉴于此,通过调查高职英语专业学生的职业需求,根据反馈发现其学习需要,尝试探索一定程度上更适合学生的教学方法及教学内容,让学生具备较为扎实的专业基础,提高就业能力。

Comprehensive English, with extensive and rich content, a basic course for English majors of vocational higher educa- tion, covers skills like listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, and serves as the basis for other vocational courses. It＇s a big challenge for the teachers because they can＇t achieve all the training goals included by this course. Thus, problems like how to ex- plore its practical and applied nature, to improve the students＇ integrated language proficiency so as to adapt to vocational requirement are urgent. This paper aims to probe teaching methods and content fit for students to a certain degree through questionnaire from gradu- ates and students studying, which can help students mater basic knowledee and improve the iob-huntinz ability.
