This paper summarizes associate professor He Qingyong’s comprehensive clinical experience of applying Xiaochaihu De-coction in Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases.He always attaches importance to the differentiation of decoctions and symptoms, locating the most important symptom,complying with the original composition and proportion of the dosage as well as the way of boiling and taking the decoction.He uses Xiaochaihu Decoction flexibly and is good at combining Xiaochaihu Decoction with other classic decoctions to cure some difficult diseases.
