Back to the Nature of Higher Education:From the Perspective of Human Socialization

面对当今功利化的学校教育体系带给身处其中的学生、家庭、学校甚至是社会的困顿与挣扎,置身于高等教育的人们应从大学教育在人的一生全面社会化中所蕴含的意义和所能起到的作用中去思考与领悟应然的大学教育,去功利化,回归教育的本真,让大学校园在充满人文精神的追求真理的气场中,培养学生善良的人格,引导学生追求真理和追求生活的意义,帮助学生成为有人性的人、有健全人格且能独立面对社会的人。

In the face of the perplexing and struggling brought by utilitarian schooling education to students,parents,schools and even society who are part of the education system,educators should rethink and understand the nature of higher education from its significance and implication in comprehensive socialization.It should de-utilitarian it and bring higher education back to its essence.In the circumstance filled with humanistic spirit and pursuit of truth,higher educators hold the missions which are to train students＇ good personality,to guide students for pursuit of truth and the meaning of lives,to help students become persons with humanity,healthy personality and independence.
