New Exploration of the Process Monitoring in the Assessment of College Courses

摘要 传统的大学课程考核总是在课程结束后采取"一考定终身"的方式,存在着许多弊端,而过程控制能充分考虑学生在课程学习过程中的表现,能更真实地反映学生的学习效果,从而成为当前课程考核的主流。结合土木工程的专业课程,探讨在课堂、课后和实验、实践等教学环节,通过对学生的出勤、提问、测验、课后作业、论文专题和实验、实践等方面实施过程控制的探索,在此基础上给出平时成绩,并结合课程的特点按照一定的权重将平时成绩与期终考核成绩结合起来,以综合评定学生的课程成绩,从而起到更加真实、全面反映学生学习效果的目的。 Paper examination,with a lot of disadvantages,is still the main evaluation mode in traditional college course's assessment,while process monitoring can take full consideration of students' performance during the course's study,reflect students' learning outcome more effectively,and thus has the potential to become the mainstream way of course assessment nowadays.This paper takes the major courses of civil engineering as an example to analyze the concrete operation of effective process monitoring.Firstly,to evaluate students' attendance,question asking,test and homework,paper and experiment during the teaching link of class to after class experiment and practice.Secondly,regular grades are given based on the assessment of aforementioned items.Thirdly,according to characteristics of each course,the course grade is the combination of the regular grades and final assessment results on the basis of different weights,which can reflect the learning outcome more truly and fully.
