The connecting methods and compre- hensive costs of thin-walled stainless steel pipe are compared with those of the traditional steel pipe. The advantages of thin-walled stainless steel pipe in con- nection and cost are highlighted. The clip compression connection and ring compression connection of thin- walled stainless steel pipe are compared, and the tech- nology advantages of ring compression connection are pointed out. The application of thin-walled stainless steel pipe in gas field is described.
