摘要
本文以河南登封少林寺景区的两则不同文体风格的景介为例,分析、探讨、总结其主要翻译策略及技巧,凸显了翻译过程中语言、语用及文化因子的处理方法,强调了规范翻译流程对提高译文质量的重要性。
This article makes an analysis of the translating strategies in English translations of two Chinese texts introducing scenic spots in Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng City, Henan province, and in particular, explores how some of the linguistic, pragmatic and cultural elements in the texts were transferred. In conclusion, the author stresses the importance of standardization of the translation process in order to assure the translation quality of tourist texts.
