论科技论文的可视化发表与科技期刊的可视化出版 被引量:14

摘要 从可视化和信息可视化的角度剖析当今科技论文的形态特征,认为其文字、图表均为静态模式,不能反映科学试验连续变化的视觉过程,因而具有抽象、枯燥、难以理解和不易被受众接纳的缺陷。阐明以是否可视(人视觉可否观察到)为标准,将科学研究或科学试验的过程分为实景化(即人眼可见或人眼借助显微镜、电子显微镜、摄像机等仪器可见)和非实景化(人眼或借助仪器无法观察,如推理过程、思维过程、证明过程等)2种;每项科学试验都是由实景化和非实景化过程所构成,区别仅在于这2种过程所占比重不同。从科技论文可视化发表的客观基础(技术基础、组织基础、受众基础)和主观驱动2方面论证论文可视化发表的可行性,并在此基础上,展望目前可尝试进行可视化出版的科技期刊类别和特点,讨论了可视化出版探索初期应给予关注的问题。 First, format characteristics of research papers are examined in terms of visualization and information visualization,which reveals that their words,tables and figures are presented in static forms, difficult to tell dynamic progresses of sci-tech experiments, so that the papers have the disadvantages of abstraction, tediousness and being difficult to understand and uneasy to be accepted by readers. Second, the possibility of categorizing sci-tech researches or experimentations into visual processes( able to be observed with naked eyes or by means of microscope,electronic microscope and video camera) and nonvisual processes( unable to be observed with naked eyes or by means of microscope,electronic microscope and video camera)such as reasoning,thinking and attesting,is explored and it follows that all research or experimentation are composed of visual and nonvisual processes and their differences only result from their different proportions between the two processes. Finally,the feasibility of visually publishing research papers and journals is explored in terms of objective relevance( technical, organizational and audience availabilities) and subjective driving forces. In the context,the categories and characteristics of academic journals suitable to be visually published are tentatively envisaged and problems that will probably occur and need discussing at the beginning stage of visual publication are delved.
