This paper stated the condition and reasons for the air leakage in the air preheater in Nayong Power Plant, and presented the flexible contact sealing reformation of air preheater. The technology of flexible contact sealing was elaborated. The economic benefits of the reformation and the air leakage condition were compared, and the successful application of flexible contact sealing technology in rotary preheater.
