摘要
孙武和克劳塞维茨分别以"东方兵圣"和"西方兵圣"闻名于世。通过对美国著名的两大报纸《华盛顿邮报》和《纽约时报》进行调查,将孙武与克劳塞维茨各自被刊登的频数搜索对比,得出有关孙武报道中出现的次数更多、领域更广的结果。话语分析表明孙武的影响力更强,同时也发现对《孙子兵法》的引用中有歪曲和不准确的情况出现。美报对孙武及其兵法的认同是多层面的:对《孙子兵法》普世智慧认同的同时也呈现出将孙武代表的中国文化视为"他者"的分裂认同。最后探讨如何通过孙武思想的中国诠释提高中国的国际话语权和软实力。
Sun Tzu and Clausewitz are renowned as military sages in the East and the West respectively. The coverage rate and frequency of Sun Tzu and Clausewitz are surveyed comparatively in New York Times and Washington Post. The survey concludes that Sun Tzu's coverage rate and frequency is higher than those of Clausewitz. The discourse analysis shows that Sun Tzu enjoys stronger influence in more coverage fields and some of quotations of Sun Tzu's The Art of War are distorted and inaccurate. American media's identity towards Sun Tzu is multiple and split: The Strategy of Sun Tzu is identified with wisdom whereas the Chinese cultural background of Sun Tzu is seen as "the other". How to promote international discourse power and soft power of China in terms of thought of Sun Tzu is also discussed.
