钟文典与客家研究

Zhong Wendian and the Study of the Hakkas

客家研究是钟文典教授的研究领域之一。他是新中国成立后最早从事广西客家研究的学者之一,《广西客家》是他的代表性专著。他坚持"两条腿走路"的研究方法,重视整体研究与区域研究相结合,注重文献资料与实地调查相结合,主张客家文化研究与服务现实社会相结合。他提出了客家源于北方汉民族的一个支系,客家是"一系多元"的学术观点。他倡导成立广西第一个客家文化研究机构,指导广西客家文化课题研究,主编"客家研究系列丛书",成就显著,贡献突出。他不仅是广西客家研究的举旗人,也是广西客家研究的奠基者。

The research on the Hakkas was one of the research fields of Professor Zhong Wendian.After the founding of new China he was one of the earliest research scholars of Guangxi Hakkas,and ＆quot;Guangxi Hak-kas＆quot; was his representative works.He insisted on the research method of “walking on two legs”paying at-tention to the combination of the whole research with the regional research and the combination of literature with field survey.He advocated the combination of the study of the Hakka culture with the service of the so-ciety.He proposed that the Hakkas originated from a branch of the Han nationality in the North.He advo-cated the establishment of Guangxi＆#39;s first research institute of Hakka culture,guiding the research on Guan-gxi Hakka culture.As the editor in chief of “Hakka Studies Series”he had notable achievements and out-standing contributions.He was not only the standard-bearer in the research on Guangxi Hakkas but also the founder of Guangxi Hakka studies.
