摘要
法律术语翻译是法律文本翻译的基础,其翻译质量的高低直接影响到法律文本的翻译质量。目前我国法律术语的翻译存在着不少误译。为避免误译,在翻译时,译者应充分考虑到法律术语的基本特征,掌握一些避免法律术语误译的基本方法和技巧,遵循法律术语翻译的基本规律,提高法律术语的翻译质量。
The translation of legal terms is the basis of the translation of legal texts. The quality of the trans- lation directly affects the quality of the translated legal texts. Currently, there are quite a few mistranslated legal terms. To avoid errors in translation, the translator should be fully aware of the basic characteristics of legal ter- minology, acquire certain basic methods and skills to avoid mistranslation of the legal terminology, follow the basic rules in translation, and improve the quality of the translation of legal terms.
